Will the aluminum turn my skin green?

No, all our metals are high quality and should not turn your skin green. The cuff bracelets, wrap rings, tie bars and keychains are made of aluminum.

How do I care for my jewelry?

To care for your jewelry, you’ll want to store it in a dry, air-resistant space (e.g., plastic baggie, box or suede bag it shipped in, or jewelry box). Do not store your jewelry in the bathroom.
Aluminum and gold-filled pieces will not tarnish or chip, and can be cleaned with a non-abrasive soft cloth. Occasionally wipe clean with a damp cloth to remove dead skin and any other dirt accrual.
Sterling silver naturally tarnishes over time due to various factors including (but not limited to) moisture and humidity. Some lotions and oils can cause your pieces to tarnish even quicker. To remove tarnish and oxidation, wipe clean with a mild abrasive jewelry cloth or a gentle microfiber cloth.

Can you stamp on the back of the piece?

The aluminum rings, bracelets, tie bars, and keychains can be stamped on both sides. The necklaces and chain bracelets cannot be stamped on both sides, as it is a thinner metal and stamping on both sides mars the metal and takes away the beautiful finish.

The dark color came out of my jewelry. Is there a way to fix it?

Unfortunately, over time the blackened color may wear out. To avoid fading, keep your products away from moisture. For example, remove rings and bracelets prior to washing hands, do not wear jewelry while swimming, etc.
To add black back into your product, simply use a felt marker to fill it in. After the marker is dry, use a small amount of rubbing alcohol on a soft cloth to remove the excess marker from the top of the piece and the stamped areas should remain dark.

Does your jewelry contain nickel?

All of our products are 100% nickel free.

Are the earrings good for sensitive skin?

Yes. We use genuine sterling silver and gold-filled metals. Both of which can be considered hypoallergenic. None of our metals contain nickel which is the most common metal allergy.
Many customers have commented on how much they love our earrings for their sensitive ears.

Can you stamp on the back of the piece?

What does “hand stamped” mean?

Hand stamped means that each design or letter is stamped individually with the use of a hammer and metal stamp. You can expect slight variation from any photo on our site. Although the letters may not be perfectly straight or spaced, I try my very best to line up and stamp the letters as straight and even as possible.

What is your production time?

Custom orders take approximately 10-14 days to make, although this is subject to change with high order volume. Ready to ship items will ship within 1-2 business days.

How long does shipping take?

All orders are shipped via USPS. First class packages take approximately 3 to 6 days, depending on your location. Priority packages take approximately 1-2 days.

Do you do custom orders?

Depending upon the request, we may be able to do a custom order for you. Additional options to already listed products such as longer chain, different font, etc… can often be done.
Different styles or designs are possible depending on the request. We do our best not to copy other jewelers’ work, so slight variations may exist based on your request.

Discounts, Returns, and Exchanges

Do you give discounts on bulk orders?

Yes, if you purchase 10+ of the same item, you will receive a 15% discount off your total. If you purchase 20+ of the same item, you will receive a 20% discount off your total. Discounts are not given on top of any site sale pricing. Please email with any questions.

What is your return policy?

At The Redheaded Jeweler we offer returns and exchanges on unworn, non-personalized items within 30 days from delivery date for an exchange or refund. Personalized/custom orders cannot be returned or exchanged. Original shipping fees are non-refundable. We can exchange for a different item or same item in a different size/length. We also offer a return for refund back to your original form of payment. Returns for refund are subject to a $3 return shipping fee, which will be deducted from your refund.

Please reach out to with your order number, email address, and items you would like returned or exchanged. 

Returns must be received within 14 days from the creation of the return to be accepted.

What if my ring/necklace doesn’t fit?

If the necklace has not been worn, you can make an exchange for a different chain length. You will be responsible for shipping the piece back to be rechained. To have your chain replaced, contact us via email.
If your ring does not fit, please contact us via email. In some situations the ring may be resized. Please send information so we can assess the situation and determine if the ring can be resized or not.
If you are unsure of your ring size, please request a ring sizer to be sent to you.

What if my ring doesn’t fit?

Stacking Rings, Circle and Square rings: These are not adjustable and cannot be resized. Please check your ring size before placing your order.
Birthstone Rings: The birthstone rings are not adjustable and cannot be made smaller or significantly larger.  They can be made bigger but only by about 1/4 to 1/2 size.
Wrap Rings: The thick wrap ring and skinny wrap ring are slightly adjustable, but the skinny triple wrap ring is not adjustable.
If your ring doesn’t fit, you may send it back to be resized (shipping fees will apply). However, please note that this will however affect the word placement and it may no longer be centered.

Do you offer any type of warranty?

All of the necklaces come with a 90-day warranty for any chain or clasp defects. Contact us and we will arrange to fix the necklace/clasp for you at no charge. If your chain or clasp breaks after the 90-day period has come to an end, contact us for possible replacement at a lower cost.
All earrings come with a 60-day warranty. If the earring breaks within the warranty period, contact us to get a replacement earring sent to you. If the earring breaks after the 60-day period has come to an end, contact us for possible replacement of a single earring instead of a full pair.
These warranties do not cover negligence of the wearer (i.e. child tugging, getting caught on shirt, improper storage, etc)
